KEEPING EVERYONE SAFE - COVID-19

To reduce the risk to you and everyone else attending the event, we are asking all attendees and staff for proof of full vaccination or proof of a negative Lateral Flow test before they access the venue. This is in line with current guidance and is subject to change. We also advise attendees to use the NHS COVID-19 App.

We ask that anyone who is displaying symptoms of COVID-19, has been asked to self-isolate or lives with someone who has COVID-19 symptoms DOES NOT attend the Awards. Please note that we have a no cancellation policy and we do not provide refunds if guests are no longer able to attend the event. If you are unable to attend due to testing positive for COVID, or you are self-isolating then you may nominate an alternative person from your organisation to attend in your place. All substitutions must be received in writing to kate.smith@futurenet.com up to 12 hours before the event.

FAQ

When can I take my Lateral Flow test for the What Hi-Fi? Awards?
Between 6:45pm on Tuesday 2nd November 2021 and 6:45pm on Thursday 4th November 2021. Tests taken outside of this period will not be valid for entry.

What should attendees do if they have a positive test?
A positive result from a Lateral Flow test means that it’s likely that you had COVID-19 when the test was done. Attendees and anyone they live with must not attend the event and self-isolate immediately. You are advised to get a home PCR test to confirm their result as soon as possible.

What if I don’t have a smartphone to display my proof of a negative test result on?
Your negative Lateral Flow test can be emailed to your email address and printed off as a pdf and you can bring the printed copy with you to the event. This is the only form of documentation other than the NHS Covid Pass, NHS text or NHS email presented on your mobile device that will be accepted.

What if I don’t have a smartphone to display my proof of double vaccination on?
If you don’t have a smartphone you can obtain a NHS COVID-19 Pass letter (proving vaccination status only) by calling 119 or visiting the NHS website.

If I’m double vaccinated can I bring my vaccination card to the event?
Vaccination cards will not be accepted. Guests must provide proof of vaccination status on your NHS Covid Pass on your NHS app.

What happens if someone doesn’t show proof of a negative Lateral Flow test or double vaccination at entry?
They will be denied entry. Proof of full vaccination or proof of a negative Lateral Flow test will be required.
