Awards Videos

What Hi-Fi? offers Award-winning brands the chance to purchase success videos for Product of the Year and Best Buy products. These are "live reviews" presented by our editorial team, explaining to our audience why we love the Award-winning products. You can view some of last year's Awards videos here.

Media promotion via What Hi-Fi?'s platform

The videos are placed on the Awards page on our website, the product review page and our YouTube channel. Brands benefit from stronger engagement on the Awards section of whathifi.com with a video rather than a flat image, inclusion within the What Hi-Fi? channel on YouTube, social media and email marketing of the Awards. We will send you the video file for your own use, and then these can be placed on your own global sites, distributor sites and retail sites. Last year's Awards videos achieved more than 50,000 views.

What Hi-Fi? copy
To aid in relaying the strength and relationship you have with What Hi-Fi?, below is a description that can be used for reference.

Through news, reviews, videos and one-to-one online advice, its experts are helping millions of people get more from their music, movies and TV - however and wherever they want to enjoy them."

Awards Logo Usage Guidelines on Social Media

Our overall goal is to participate online in a respectful, relevant way that protects our reputation and respects our commercial proposition.

1. Manufacturers - Manufacturers can use the official Awards logos for their winning products on social media free of charge, with no restrictions whatsoever, but to support the promotion of these products in the retail environment, manufacturers should follow point 2 and point 3.

2. Retailers - If manufacturers do not purchase the right to use the trademarked Awards logos for retail support, then retailers can use the Awards logos solely on social media platforms. Retailers can share, retweet or post the official logos for the winning products on social media sites, as long as they reference What Hi-Fi? by mentioning or tagging @whathifi, facebook.com/whathifi.com or plus.google.com/+whathifi, and by adding our hashtag (#WhatHiFiAwards) in the tweet / post. Retailers must ensure that the What Hi-Fi? brand is credited on all social media logo usage.

3. Manufacturers and retailers - Both manufacturers and retailers must post meaningful, respectful comments (no spam and / or remarks that are off-topic or offensive). Suggested tweet / social media post: "We're delighted to announce that the <insert product name> has won <insert award> in the <year> #WhatHiFiAwards! @whathifi".
Note you may add the What Hi-Fi? logos to the tweet / post if you so wish.
